Conclusion: Sikkens Alphacryl Morpha achieves even better results in the following areas:

- Uniformly well rounded, for a perfect result
- Very smooth and pleasant to work with
- High resistance to polishing

APPLICATION

Difficult application of Sigma Perfect Matt

AESTHETIC FINISH

Sigma Perfect Matt does not form an even top coat. Grainy effect.

COVERING POWER

Sigma Perfect Matt has less coverage than Sikkens and is more expensive:

Sikkens Alphacryl Morpha - 15,9€/L and a yield of 10m²/L => 1,59€/m².
Sigma Perfect Matt - 13,65€/L and a yield of 8m²/L => 1,70€/m².

WET ABRASION

Sigma Perfect Matt is class 1, but less efficient than Sikkens.

When wet abrading on painted panels:

Sigma Perfect Matt: paint marks and soaking
Sikkens: no paint marks

BRILLIANT

When rubbed, a local increase in gloss is clearly visible with Sigma Perfect Matt (direct consequence of the matt appearance).

Additional sensitivity (as a result of the structured film) compared to the sharper finish and good rounding of Sikkens.
